We have been manufacturing our own extensive range of quality timber garden products from our 5-acre site in Mark, Somerset since 1991. In addition to our own products we also sell a range of complementary garden products from other carefully selected manufacturers.
Somerlap manufacturing and quality
Our on-going investment programme is providing the latest production equipment to ensure the economic production of an extensive range of both standard and customised high quality timber garden products at competitive prices.
Stringent quality control procedures are applied at all stages of manufacture and ongoing staff training is an integral part of our operating philosophy which is directed towards the provision of high quality products and total customer service.
Somerlap and the environment
The protection of the environment is also an important part of our company’s philosophy and all timber used in the manufacture of Somerlap products is carefully selected at source from well managed, renewable woodlands or forest thinnings.
We are committed to making sustainable business choices, which is why our business is powered with 100% renewable, locally generated energy from F & S Energy.

About Somerlap Pallets
Somerlap also manufactures an extensive range of timber pallets, crates and boxes suitable for both UK and export use. Manufacturing takes place from our 5-acre manufacturing site conveniently located 10 minutes from Junction 22 of the M5. In addition to a comprehensive range of standard pallets, modern equipment and manufacturing facilities allows us to produce bespoke, made-to-order pallets. Delivery is by our own vehicle fleet with stock items normally dispatched within 3-5 days. However our large stockholding allows for 24-hour express delivery service in cases of urgent need.
Additionally Somerlap Pallets offers a pallet repair and reconditioning service whereby damaged pallets are returned to their original state. Where a pallet is damaged beyond repair, our recovery service will collect, then recycle the degraded material via our chipping machine.
