Fencing can be a complicated project, even for an experienced DIYer. That’s why all Somerlap fencing comes with the option of professional installation using our team of trusted and experienced installers.
How much will it cost me to have fencing installed?
At Somerlap, our experienced contractor prices every job individually. This is because every fence is different, and the amount of work involved to install a fence varies greatly. It also allows us to offer a personalised service depending on your requirements – for example, you may need the site clearing of your old fence and the rubbish removed.
Your quote would be based on:
- The number of panels and posts you need installed, as well as the type of fencing you have chosen.
- The ease (or difficulty) of having fencing installed on your site: the type of ground the fence will be installed on, whether it’s sloped and access to your property all need to be considered.
- The difficulty and size of the job will also determine how many staff are required, which will affect the cost.
- Whether you require the clearing of your old fence or hedge, and the disposal of any waste.
How quickly can I get a quote?
This will depend on the complexity of the job. However, quotes are normally prepared and sent within a couple of days – you would never have to wait any longer than a week.
How quickly can I have my fencing installed?
We aim to get your fence installed as quickly as possible. How long you’ll have to wait can vary depending on the time of year, but the usual wait time is around two to four weeks. In busier times, such as the peak of the summer period, you may have to wait up to six weeks. The best advice is to plan well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Where do you install fencing?
Most of our fencing installation is within 30 miles of our site in Mark, Somerset, however, we can travel further afield for certain jobs. If in doubt it's always best to contact the Somelap Team and they'll be happy to help with planning, delivery and installation.
