Lockdown is easing – so Somerlap is needed!

As England takes its first steps out of the third COVID lockdown, hospitality businesses across the South West are gearing up to welcome customers back – and just in time for the warmer weather!

That’s where Somerlap comes in, as many of these businesses require garden and other wooden products either to replace ones which have become worn, or to comply with COVID regulations. Naturally, we’re happy to help them all!

On April 12th pubs and restaurants in England reopened with outdoor service in step two of the Government's 'roadmap' out of lockdown. We’ve been supplying garden products such as benches, tables and chairs for many years, and with hospitality businesses (and private households) needing to make the most of their outdoor space to be Covid-compliant, we’ve seen an upsurge in demand for garden furniture.

The White Hart in Chilton Polden has just taken delivery of 8 new farmhouse tables, the Mapperton Estate in Beaminster now has a new bin store, and Northam Farm in Brean are the proud owners of 8 tables.

Everyone knows that hospitality is vital to the economy in the South West, and we’re glad to support our local businesses as they get back on their feet after the strangest year we’ve ever known.
