Thank you to everyone who attended the second Somerlap Christmas Fayre. The festive event was a huge success, with twice as many stalls and more money raised for charity.
Kevin Bond, Managing Director of Somerlap said: "It was fantastic to see such an interesting range of stalls at the Somerlap Christmas fayre this year. It’s very encouraging to see that the fayre raised much more money than last year, with twice as many stalls as well."
"Everyone really got into the Christmas spirit and I was glad to see that we raised £600 for the really worthwhile local charity, Stand Against Violence."
George Bond from Somerlap recently presented the cheque to Stand Against Violence CEO Adam Fouracre, who said: "We are very grateful to Somerlap for choosing to support us at what sounded like a very successful event."
We're delighted to announce that we will be continuing to support the charity through 2017. You can read more about Somerlap's support for Stand Against Violence in the Somerset Country Gazette.
