For the third year running, we are holding our annual Christmas Fayre – which has always proved to be incredibly popular.
The fayre will take place on Saturday 9th December 2017, from 10am to 3pm at our site in Mark, Somerset. New for this year is a raffle to win an amazing timber climbing frame, and a chance to win a bench for your local school. As always, there will be a chance to pick up your Christmas tree as well as getting a chunk of your Christmas shopping sorted at the wide range of stalls.
The Somerlap site will be decorated for the 2017 Christmas Fayre and we’ll have hot drinks and mince pies at the ready so there’s no excuse for not getting in the Christmas spirit! This year all money raised from stalls will be donated to Open Door, a Taunton-based charity that work to support the homeless.
Here’s some of the exciting things you can expect at the 2017 Christmas Fayre...
Win a climbing frame (and much more) in the prize raffle
Each stall holder is donating a superb prize for our raffle, which also includes a magnificent Blue Rabbit timber climbing frame donated by Somerlap. Tickets for the raffle will be available throughout the day and the winners will be drawn at the end of the fayre. All proceeds from the raffle will go to Open Door.
Win a bench for your local school
Complete one of our flyers (shown on the right) and you could win a superb timber bench for the school of your choice. The winning entrant will also win a gift for themselves!

This year the Fayre features more stalls than ever before. From crafts to sweets to Christmas decorations, you can choose from:

- Art and a wide range of handcrafted items and gifts
- Doggie toys, presents and treats
- Homemade cards, notepads and gift wrap

- Sweets, fudge, cookies and chocolate (look for the Christmas Eve boxes)

Christmas trees
If you're visiting the Fayre why not pick up your Somerlap Christmas tree? As usual, we’ll have a range of excellent value Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce and Nordmann Fir trees. Stocks are limited so make sure you get yours early!
A wider range of refreshments
A selection of hot and cold drinks, mince pies and biscuits will be available for a small donation to Open Door. If you’re looking for something more substantial, you’ll be able to pick up a burger, hot dog, bacon sandwich and much more on-site. Don't worry, if the weather isn't great – there's plenty of space undercover!

Somerlap is located in Mark, Somerset, TA9 4NR. Our site is well signposted and ample free parking will be available throughout the day.
