James and Sylvia’s Lockdown Project is veggie good!

If you’ve visited our showroom in Mark you’ll know that we sell a wide range of garden products including fencing, sheds, and benches. During the lengthy lockdown two of our long-standing customers decided to make the most of their time and create their own planters, so naturally they came to us for all their supplies!

Their fruit and vegetable planters are made from pressure-treated softwood and oak sleepers, with softwood posts for the uprights. They even created a nice smooth seating area along the top, by fixing machined round edged timber (called easy edge) to the rough sawn sleepers.

The whole thing was fixed together with timber fast screws, and as finishing touches they lined their planter with our fabric roll and bird and animal-proof netting.
