New Pallets

Wooden pallets are the most commonly used pallets in the world comprising 90% of all pallets made – the major reason for this popularity is when taking into account the qualities they offer, wooden pallets are a cost-effective buy.

Why choose wooden pallets?

Compared to plastic and metal products they are not only recyclable and made from renewable sources, but they are cheaper, stronger and more rigid in relation to their cost and can be easily repaired if damaged. They also provide a higher frictional base that reduces the possibility of a load shifting during transportation.

What are the regulations?

Where used for transportation overseas, ISPM15 regulations apply and wooden pallets must be heat-treated to ensure that no infestation is present in the timber.

A large number of standard pallets is held in stock ranging from two-way entry and four-way entry in close-boarded and open-boarded styles, to a range of platform or skid designs, all available with chamfered corners if required. Where a custom-designed pallet is required, knowledgeable staff are available to advise and we will be pleased to provide a prototype sample for assessment.
