When the residents of Northcroft came to us for some pallets, we were curious about what they were going to use them for. We were excited (and very impressed) to learn that our pallets were going to be used to create – a cocktail bar!

If you’re a regular reader of our blog you’ll know that our pallets have been put to many ingenious uses by our customers, from planters to desks and furniture. But this is the first time we’re aware of that they’ve been used for this purpose!

Northcroft is a local home for adults with learning disabilities, and like everyone else they’ve had to have a ‘staycation’ this year because of the pandemic. They carefully planned how to turn the 5 nearly new, once used two-way entry pallets we gave them into their cocktail bar, and have been busy putting their plans into action so that they have their very own watering hole!

The Manager of Northcroft was really grateful, and told us that, “It is the generosity of people like you that enables us to continue our work.” We’re really pleased that we could help out, and can’t wait to see the finished bar! Any chance of an invitation to the opening??!
